According to the study, the city has 254 street artworks and received over 223,000 combined posts on TikTok and Instagram, highlighting the city as a hub for vibrant street art and graffiti culture.
Bristol also received over 34,000 global Google searches, with Banksy’s six public artworks in the city sparking around 29,000 searches each year, more than major global cities like Los Angeles and San Francisco.

1. The Duel of Bristol
Located on Broad Street, ‘The Duel of Bristol’ is an oil painting mural by Irish artist Conor Harrington made using an art style from Italy’s 1560s. Conflict is a common theme in his work and this piece appears to represent the conflict between Ireland and the UK, for example, in the Irish flag between the right figure’s legs. | BristolWorld

2. Clothed With The Sun
‘Clothed With the Sun’ in Broad Quay was painted by El Mac as part of ‘See No Evil’ and features his partner Kim and her baby niece Madeline. He projected the photo onto the building to paint the outline and added more details after; he usually draws photographic images but was unable to complete the full detail of the image within the limited 4-day deadline. | BristolWorld

4. The Vandal and Welcome to Bristol
Both located on Quay Street. ‘The Vandal’ is Bristol-born street artists Nick Walker’s most iconic character. The ‘Welcome to Bristol’ mural was created by Tats Cru in 2011.
