Hip-hop DJ Charlie Sloth is bringing a 20 piece orchestra to Manchester for a performance at the iconic Albert Hall on April 20.

The event is being delivered in collaboration with Manchester-based promoters YB Island, ensuring that the city’s thriving music culture is at the heart of this production. The show will re-imagine some of hip-hop’s greatest hits, alongside the biggest tracks from the UK, elevating them to new heights through the power of live orchestration. Attendees can anticipate an immersive musical experience, with a lineup of special guests that are at the pinnacle of the world’s music scene.

Special guest DJs include DJ AG, whose innovative street sessions have taken social media by storm, generating millions of views. Also joining the bill is Red Bull Culture Clash Captain Kenny Allstar, a figure synonymous with breaking new talent and driving the UK music scene forward. Also joining is Birmingham’s internationally renowned DJ Mexy, known for his high energy sets blending R&B, hip-hop, and dancehall classics.

The Albert Hall, known for its stunning architecture and acoustics, provides the perfect setting for this unique event. With a capacity of 2,000 attendees, the venue will serve as the launchpad for what is set to be one of the most talked about performances of the year. The Manchester show marks the first of five exclusive UK dates for ‘Charlie Sloth & The Orchestra’ in 2025, with other dates to be announced for summer 2025.

The show will mark the launch of the Paradox Orchestra’s 2025 UK spring and summer season. The event starts at 11 PM and ends at 4 am on April 21, 2025. It is an 18+ event and ID will be required for entry. More surprise guests may be announced ahead of the April date—so stay tuned if you’re interested in attending. Charlie Sloth’s incorporation of a 20 piece orchestra set is sure to be an electric performance and the first of many for the Paradox Orchestra this year. So far, the first date is around 80% sold out so you’ll have to move fast to secure tickets.
