Classic hip hop artists Ja Rule, Fat Joe, Slick Rick and Doug E. Fresh are starring in DJ Cassidy’s latest “Pass the Mic” concert series — and they’ve moved to Las Vegas for the month to perform several dates at the Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

“I’ve always been inspired by old world Vegas…When the opportunity arose to bring ‘Pass the Mic Live!’ to Vegas, I immediately knew I wanted to capture that old work spirit and elegance and sophistication,” Cassidy told Page Six.

The crew have been hitting the town “Rat Pack style,” decked out in tuxedos when hitting legendary Vegas spots like Golden Steer Steakhouse, an old Frank Sinatra favorite.

Ja Rule has even taught Cassidy how to golf.

Public Enemy has also popped up on the scene as a rotating act, and Flava Flav made a heartfelt speech about how the residency is bringing hip hop artists together.

“We’ve really captured this kind of iconic Vegas energy, that Vegas hasn’t seen in a long time, and we’ve done it through a hip hop lens — through a New York lens,” Cassidy said.

Warren G, Too $hort, Jermaine Dupri, Da Brat, Ghostface Killah, Akon and Raekwon are among the rotating special guests to pop up at the show.

“It’s been all of us here together going out, going golfing, going for lobster, gambling, rolling through the casinos in suits… It’s been this incredible experience and I think we struck something that’s really the beginning of something that’s going to last a long time,” Cassidy further predicted.
