Explore the interplay between source and sample with a live band performing iconic Funk Jazz and a DJ showcasing the classic Hip Hop tracks that sampled it.
Featuring the Sample This All Stars — Vinnie D’Agostino (sax / flute / etc.), Khari Cabral Simmons (bass), Grant Green Jr. (guitar), Greg Satterthwaite (keys), and Che Marshall (drums).
8:00 PM — DJ Jaycee begins the night with music inspired by our theme
9:00 PM — Sample This All Stars take the stage for TWO SETS of iconic Funk Jazz classics
After the live band, DJ Jaycee will keep the party going until midnight – so don’t forget your dancing shoes!
