A Talisay artist is holding his 6th solo art exhibition at Gallerie G, Geronca Bldg., Rosario-Amapola streets, Bacolod City which opened Saturday and will run for a month.
Titled “Pagpasalamat”, the show features the works of Red Santillan in mixed media on canvas. He was a graffiti artist but started painting seriously in 2016.
“My artworks on exhibit are all untitled so, it will depend on the viewer how he sees it or how he will interpret it,” he said.
He has held solo exhibits at Gallery Orange and other galleries where he is blessed to be given the opportunity, including one in Baguio City where he held his 5th solo exhibition.
Santillan graduated this year from Carlos Hilado State University where he took up a course in Fashion and Apparel. He looks forward to holding an informal or commercial type of fashion show someday where he can express his own style.
Guests of honor at the opening were Poly Catada and artist Joe Geraldo.*
