Street art festival is something to chalk about

MONTICELLO — Whether you chalk it up to talented artists, a new locale, good weather, friendly vibes, tasty food or interactive activities, Monticello’s Let’s Chalk festival was a colorful summer spectacle enjoyed by attendees of all ages.

The third annual street art festival took over the corner of Walnut and River streets — showcasing a newly revamped West Bridge Park — over two days last weekend, bringing a mass of visitors downtown for free family-friendly fun.
