Street art across Worcester will be getting a fresh coat of paint on Saturday as a festival returns to the city.
Murals painted in 2021 will be repainted as part of the Worcester Paint Festival’s one day activity to install new pieces of art across the city.
Graffiti and street artists will exhibit their work as part of the event.
The festival’s director, Kate Cox, said this year’s event would focus more on community art, making sure the art created was experienced by people widely across the city.
She said: “Street art is for everyone, so murals are spread out into further afield areas. We hope everyone will love the new pieces appearing.”
As part of the event live painting will be on offer at Cripplegate Park, while Crowngate will host a pop-up art history stall.
Oasis Academy Warndon will also host street art workshops allowing young people to get creative.
