JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) — Johnson City Public Art has installed three new street art pieces in a breezeway downtown that were created by local artists.

The artworks were created during this year’s Art-Struck Festival’s “Street Art Throwdown” event. Three artists created their own graffiti-style pieces on their own 8′ x 6′ wooden fence panel.

Those pieces were installed on the walls of the breezeway between the Downtown Square parking lot and Main Street.

According to the organization, the three artists and their works featured are as follows:

  • “Touch of Grey” by Appalachian Magic; @appalachian_magic

  • “Pang Kachinga” by Daruth the Human; @daruththehuman

  • “A Sticky Situation” by Majic Monsters; @majicmonsters

Johnson City Public Art said it encourages the community to visit the breezeway and view the artwork and their vibrant colors in person.
