DJ Clock is returning to the music scene.
DJ CLOCK returns to the music scene after taking a break to focus on himself!
The popular producer and DJ is back after a year break. The musician, whose real name is Kholile Elvin Gumede, said it feels like a dream to be back doing what he loves.
DJ Clock (36) told Daily Sun when he took a break, he focused on himself, reconnected with Christ and made time for his family.
He said the entertainment industry can make you lose yourself and valuable people around you.
The Remember You hitmaker, who released his latest single, God’s Calling alongside Nomtha Welanga and Cuebur on Friday, 20 September, for the first time since 2022, said he is happy to share his new sound with fans.

“DJ Clock is back in the studio to bless people with food for the soul, meaning new music. I’m working on singles that I’m planning to drop every month leading to a full album that will be out in January 2025.
“It feels good to be back, working with colleagues, legends and up-and-coming artists. They brought the fire (excitement) to create more music for my fans,” DJ Clock said.
He said many people and the media have been showing him some love.
“To my fans, please use your smartphones to equip yourself and try to learn the business side of music as much as you can before getting excited about being in the media or on stage. I’m tired of hearing people being exploited in the industry. Do some introspection before blaming the industry,” he said.
“Ask yourself what you did to protect your craft and yourself. Respect the art and the art will respect you. This means you must put hours into your work and the work will send paper to your bank.”
