Spotify x BAPE have collaborated to celebrate hip hop culture’s influence on fashion with a unique reimagining of Spotify’s flagship ‘RapCaviar’ playlist. RapCaviar, the world’s largest hip-hop playlist, has been a vital platform for emerging rappers since its launch in 2015. As part of the collaboration, “BAPE’s signature camouflage design will be featured on the playlist, with Tennessee rapper GloRilla on the cover.” Additionally, the playlist’s logo will incorporate BAPE’s iconic camouflage pattern, blending the identities of both brands.

The collaboration will be promoted through billboard ads in the U.S. and U.K., with “additional exposure on LED screens during the October 20th FC Barcelona match against Sevilla.” Furthermore, Spotify and BAPE are launching an exclusive capsule collection featuring reimagined versions of the ‘Shark Hoodie’ and ‘College Tee,’ merging the worlds of music and streetwear innovatively.
