Micaya presents the San Francisco International Hip Hop Dance Fest on November 9 and November 10.
This annual global convergence of hip hop dance artistry, features artists from Montreal, Paris, Detroit, Milwaukee, Los Angeles, Vacaville, San Mateo, and San Carlos.
This year’s festival showcases works drawing from hip hop, dancehall, popping, locking, house and more.
With the recent debut of break dancing at the Paris Olympics, the enthusiasm for hip hop artistry is deemed bigger than ever.
The performances take place at the Palace of Fine Arts, located at 3601 Lyon Street in San Francisco.
On Saturday the performance takes place at 7pm. On Sunday, the performances takes place at noon and 5pm.
