With Hip Hop culture taking over the Philippines in every facet – MCing, DJing, graffiti, and breaking – it’s only right that Pinoy Hip Hop songs are hitting the top of the charts. In April of this year, Zae and Hev Abi were both given the honor of being part of Billboard’s Hip Hop Class of 2024. Now, the two rising stars are collabing on Zae’s ‘SUBMOTO’ remix.
In July, Zae released the original version of ‘SUBMOTO’ and it caught fire. Now, she’s added Hev Abi to the remix and it’s gotten even better. With a sample from Lil Jon and the East Side Boyz’s fighting-in-the-club anthem, ‘Bia’ Bia,’ ‘SUBMOTO’ comes out of the gate hard showing that Zae isn’t afraid of anyone. She flaunts her main chick qualifications and spits like she’s the baddest in the game.
For the remix, Hev Abi fits right in. Hot off his viral ‘WELCOME2DTQ,’ Hev shows why he is moving from Hondas to Benzes while he checks people as if SWAT just busted down their doors. The video for ‘SUBMOTO’ is also on the up and up. Compare the original and the remix and it’s easy to see where the money is being spent.
With Alex Bruce, the sisters from Morobeats, and now Zae, the ladies are taking over in the Philippines for sure.
