A GRAFFITI artist was caught red-handed by a PCSO mid-spraying his tag on a building in Warrington.

He fully admitted being involved in the offences and has been dealt with by police using the Community Resolution process.
Warrington Police said in a post on Facebook on Monday afternoon: “Earlier in the year, we received numerous reports of criminal damage by an individual or individual’s spray painting the tag ‘BUSC’ ‘TUCO’ and PACO across the Great Sankey area.

“Beat officers made enquiries in the local area and conducted patrols at the locations known to be targeted by the graffiti artists with a positive result. At the end of October, a PCSO on cycle patrol caught a male red handed in the process of spraying a wall near to Whittle Avenue.
“The male in question has now been interviewed regarding the offence and has fully admitted to targeting the area with the BUSC tag, he will now be dealt with using the Community Resolution process.
“We would like to thank everyone who helped with our enquiries into this matter.”
