WVU to Host Free Hip-Hop Concert and Panel on Appalachian Hip-Hop Culture

The Eberly College of Arts and Sciences at West Virginia University is set to celebrate the rich culture of hip-hop in Appalachia with a free concert and panel discussion on Feb. 6 as part of its fourth annual Eberly Roundtable.

This year’s event will shine a light on the often-overlooked contributions of rural hip-hop artists, emphasizing the creativity, identity, and community that shape the genre in the Appalachian region.
