The legal problems just keep piling on for rapper Finesse2tymes as he faces a second legal issue in just under a week. Earlier this week, police issued a warrant for the “Back End” rapper, claiming that he “made terroristic threats” against a woman in Texas. Over the weekend, it was made public that the rapper’s former driver, Ernest Flores, was suing the artist for emotional trauma, pain and suffering, and heavy medical bills that were incurred as a result of Flores being one of the victims of a 2023 shooting that involved Finesse2tymes.

The incident occurred on June 18, 2023, at about 3 am outside of Cosmopolitan Premier Lounge near Atlanta, Georgia, following the Birthday Bash Weekend concert event sponsored by local radio station Hot 107.9. (Finesse2tymes was performing at the event.) The lawsuit by Flores alleges that Finesse2tymes (whose legal name is Ricky Hampton) did not provide adequate security for the event, despite knowing that they were expecting a large crowd and having prior warning that things might turn violent.

Five people were shot during the incident and the club closed for good soon after. So far the artist or his representatives have not publicly commented on the matter.
