Good luck and safe travels to the Rock Springs Tiger Rhythm Dance Team (TRDT). Today, they are traveling to Orlando, Florida, to compete in the National Dance Alliance Championships. The competition will begin on Friday and conclude with the finals on Sunday.
The team will perform their state-winning jazz routine first, then their state-winning hip-hop routine in the preliminary rounds. Last month in Casper, TRDT won 4A state championships in Hip Hop Dance and Jazz Dance. Last year, the team made it into the finals of the Large Varsity Hip-Hop division.
Before departing, the TRDT dancers and coaches thanked all their sponsors for making the trip possible. “Thank you to our wonderful community for the continuous support,” stated McKenzie Skiles Eddins in an email sent to Wyo4News.
