Muralists and graffiti artists are invited by the William Humphreys Art Gallery (Whag), situated in Kimberley, to submit concept designs for a mural to be created in the city.
This work of art sets out to commemorate the 30th anniversary of South Africa’s democratic system of government.
Artists interested in applying to create the mural must note that they are required to be available to produce it in Kimberley from 11 to 15 March.
If Walls Could Talk is an initiative of the Whag, investing in the promotion of creative interventions in public spaces in the Northern Cape.
Outlined specifications must also be taken into consideration by interested artists, such as the size of the mural, which must be 7,50 m by 2,65 m.
The application process is set to close on 9 February.
The successful artist will be notified that they were chosen by 23 February.
