GOSHEN — From pompoms, to jazz, to hip hop, Northridge Dance Team is headed toward its 10th season after a season of wins and growth. The team as a whole is determined to make their next season full of more awards and bond more with the help of their coach. Their goal: to become the best team they can be, all while serving their community along the way.
Cassandra Nordman, the Northridge Dance Team coach, who has been teaching for more than 14 years, is overjoyed with the success of her team this season as they were awarded the IHSDTA Northern Regional Champions for their AA Hip Hop and their AA Pom Routines this season. The Emeralds Pom routine finished fourth in the State on March 2 at the IHSDTA State Finals. The program also was awarded the Sportsmanship Award at two invitationals this season.
