From March 13 to 30, 2025, the capital hosts a monumental exhibition devoted to street art, bringing together 350 artists in an unusual location. An unmissable event, totally free of charge.
Paris, capital of street art
Paris has always been a veritable open-air museum, with street art playing an essential role. From monumental frescoes to discreet graffiti, each work tells a story. This year, a major event celebrates this urban art form: the Expo des 150, a free 3,000 m² exhibition that promises to amaze both the amateur and the curious.
A tribute to the Cabaret du Chat Noir
Until the end of March, theExpo des 150 revives the spirit of the Cabaret du Chat Noir, an emblematic venue founded in 1881 by Rodolphe Salis, which left its mark on the Parisian art scene. The event takes place in an atypical setting: a former telephone exchange, transformed into a gigantic space of expression for urban artists. There are no showgirls here, just an abundance of color, form and commitment.
350 artists in total freedom
In this vast space at 17 rue du Faubourg Poissonnière (9th arrondissement), 350 artists give free rein to their creativity. From paintings to collages, sculptures and installations, the works cover walls and ceilings. Among the talents on show:
- Dawal, committed muralist,
- Ma Rue by Achbé, urban poet,
- Heartcraft, specialist in sensitive stencils,
- Les Murs ont des Oreilles, a graffiti artist with poetic messages.
A unique artistic event
This free event offers carte blanche to artists who are often absent from traditional museums. An eclectic program, a unique venue and an immersive immersion in urban art make this exhibition a highlight of the Parisian cultural spring.
