‘Elon is a pinhead’ graffiti has echoes of Schenectady city lore

SCHENECTADY — A piece of anti-Elon Musk graffiti has echoes of the past, with a message declaring “Elon is a pinhead” appearing this spring at the same Erie Boulevard site where the tag “Susan is a pinhead” became part of city lore four decades ago.

The “Elon is a pinhead” graffiti is scrawled in black lettering on a white wall in the Amtrak parking lot where the original pinhead slogan became part of the city’s vocabulary. The origin of the “Elon is a pinhead” graffiti is currently unknown.
