Aftershock, the earth-shattering sub-brand of the Southwest’s most prolific independent promoter, Relentless Beats, has announced a concert event with the most unleashed name in bass music, Shaquille O’Neal, aka DJ Diesel aka Shaq, as he brings his Bass All-Stars to Rawhide Event Center in Chandler, Arizona, on August 16th. Shaq’s Bass All-Stars will be delivering an anticipated onslaught of dubstep, house, trap, and hip hop across its ten-ton lineup, including the man himself- DJ Diesel aka Shaq, Ghastly presents Ghengar, Jkyl & Hyde, RZRKT B2B CELO, and a special guest that will be announced in the coming weeks.
A DJ competition will be held for those bass DJs with the fortitude to share the stage with Diesel for an opening slot on the main stage on May 9th at Sunbar in Tempe, Arizona. DJs can upload their Soundcloud or MixCoud demo set. A portion of proceeds from the competition will benefit Childhelp, a national organization dedicated to eradicating child abuse and neglect.
Tickets go on sale starting Friday, April 11th. General Admission two-pack tickets are available starting at $37.50 per ticket, before fees. Single GA tickets are available starting at $59 before fees. VIP tickets are available starting at $169 per ticket, before fees. Shaq’s Bass All-Stars is 18+.
