YNW Melly will not be released from jail ahead of his retrial for double murder, NBC 6 South Florida reports.

On Monday (May 12), a judge denied the Florida rapper’s bond request again and ruled that Melly must stay behind bars until the retrial begins in September. He’s been incarcerated for six years fighting the case, in which he’s accused of killing YNW Juvy and YNW Sakchaser, two former friends, in 2018.

This marks the third time a judge has ruled against releasing him.
