MANCHESTER, CT — UR Community Cares is teaming up with a local brewhouse for a fundraiser — Canvas of Courage Graffiti Battle.
The UR Community Cares event is slated for Saturday, at Urban Lodge Brewing, 47 Purnell Place.
The event will run from 1 to 4 pm, with 20 artists painting or spraying on canvases on the same theme. Their artwork come to life right before spectators’ eyes. See a list of artists here.
Music is being provided by DJ Michelle Bee Sponsored by Music Helps Humanity,
the UConn A Cappella Group “Drop The Bass” and Christian Loftus, he town troubadour.

During the fundraiser guests can participate in a silent auction and have the chance to take home their favorite pieces. Sponsors are RiseUp for Arts, Jerry’s Artarama, and Jonathan Perkins Injury Lawyers.
The rain date is May 24 from 1 to 4 p.m.
