Disturbing Rome graffiti shows Netanyahu kissing Hitler

European anti-Israel sentiment escalated dramatically this week when an anonymous Italian street artist painted a shocking mural depicting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu kissing Adolf Hitler on a Rome high school wall, intensifying concerns about the spread of antisemitic imagery and Holocaust comparisons across the continent.

The provocative artwork appeared Monday night near a Roman high school, created by Laika, a well-known Italian street artist who conceals her identity. The Italian newspaper La Repubblica reported Tuesday that the artist titled her creation “The Final Solution,” deliberately invoking Nazi terminology for the Holocaust.

Laika claimed her drawing portrayed Hitler congratulating Netanyahu on conducting the Gaza war. In statements to Italian media, the artist leveled severe accusations against Israel, characterizing Israeli Air Force operations as “ethnic cleansing” while citing unverified casualty figures for Palestinian civilians. She also condemned European governments, particularly Italy, for supporting Israel and urged Jewish communities to oppose the Israeli government.

Through social media posts, the artist branded IDF actions in Gaza as both “ethnic cleansing” and “genocide,” declaring that “it seems we have returned to the days of the Reich.” Laika accused Israel of killing “tens of thousands of civilians, including more than 20,000 children,” according to her unsubstantiated claims.

The artist referenced Operation Gideon’s Chariots, alleging that Israeli forces “conquered 81% of the Gaza Strip and starved the civilian population.” She characterized Gaza as “an open-air prison that has been almost completely erased” and accused Israel of planning “the expulsion of survivors.”

Laika extended her criticism to European nations, especially Italy and Germany, for their Israeli support, claiming they “chose again to be on the wrong side of history.” She concluded her remarks by referencing a Palestinian pediatrician who allegedly lost nine of her ten children.
