Year Seven student Felicity, alongside Year Eight students Mika, Daisy, and Ava from Worle School, helped the 11-strong dance squad representing the UK to second place in the hip-hop category at the 2025 Allstar World Championship.

The competition, held in Orlando, Florida, saw the girls compete against top teams from across the globe.

The students dedicated 12 hours each month to perfecting their routine, which greatly impressed both the judges and the audience at the event.

The trio expressed their delight at their success, stating: “When we placed second, we didn’t know what to do.

“So we guessed we have to hug!

“We’re speechless, shocked, and lost for words.”

The competition celebrated talent from around the world, but the UK team, including the Worle girls, stood out for their precision, energy, and passion.

When asked to give advice to other aspiring dancers, they said: “Try your best and give it your best shot.”

Headteacher Mark Tidman expressed his pride in their achievement, saying: “Congratulations to Felicity, Mika, Daisy, and Ava on their remarkable achievement.

“They’ve not only represented Worle School with pride but also inspired everyone here with what’s possible through hard work and belief.

“We are all incredibly proud.”
