A full day-by-day guide to Upfest 2024 as it starts this week

image

Upfest returns to the streets of South Bristol on Friday, May 17, for a massive 17-day programme of events, live art, workshops and more. Named Upfest Presents, this year’s festival of street art includes some of the biggest names in the field – from Cheo to Jody, Andy Council, Mister Samo and many many more.

We’ve put together a handy guide containing a day-by-day rundown of when and where your favourite artists will be painting live, as well as workshops you can get involved with – from fashion to architecture, cosy bookshops to art while you drink, and plenty for kids. You’ll need to book your spaces on some of the workshops, however the festival as a whole needs no ticket or pre-booking – you can simply venture down to the BS3 area and watch the magic unfold.

All information below is correct at time of writing, but is subject to change. You can find out more about the festival via its website here, and find a map of all murals at this year’s event here.
