Young music fans are invited to the Akron Children’s Museum for Saturday’s Kids’ Listening and Hip Hop Dance Party. Musician Durrell LeGrair, aka Rellee, will perform songs from his upcoming children’s album at the event, which aims to inspire kids to get creative and to celebrate their individuality. The party begins at 2 p.m. The event is included with museum admission. Admission for adults and kids is $7. Infants younger than 1 are free.

The weather might be frigid, but the folks at Summit Metro Parks are already thinking ahead to warmer months. Join a naturalist Sunday for Planning Your 2025 Wild Back Yard at Liberty Park Nature Center. Attendees will learn how to create a backyard that’s both beautiful and rich in biodiversity. The free event runs from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
