Beastie Boys’ classic 1994 album ‘Ill Communication’ is to be reissued on 26th July to mark its 30th anniversary.

The record has been fully remastered for its updated release, which will come across digital, cassette and vinyl formats. The cassette release will mark the first time that the album has been made available on tape in decades.

The vinyl edition, a 3xLP set, will take in the full album, as well as 12 bonus tracks. Among them are rarities, B-sides, remixes and a live version of the track ‘The Maestro’. It will also come with lenticular cover art and a slipcase.

Released in May 1994, ‘Ill Communication’ was the New York hip-hop group’s fourth studio album, and included hit singles such as ‘Sabotage’ and ‘Get It Together’.

The reissue of the record follows on from recent re-releases of Beastie Boys albums such as ‘Hello, Nasty’ and ‘Check Your Head’.
