A video of a Bengaluru college professor’s hip-hop dance has delighted the internet. With students packed onto balconies, cheering him on, the scene in the video looked more like a live concert.
The video, originally shared by a meme page made by the students of the Global Academy of Technology (GAT) on Instagram, features Professor Pushpa Raj effortlessly dancing to a beatbox mix. Channelling Michael Jackson, he nailed every step with an ease that left students roaring in excitement.

Performing in what seemed to be the college corridor, he had a full house of students hyping him up. It is absolutely easy to see why the video has already garnered over 24 million views.

Social media users had plenty to say. “Born to be a dancer, forced to be a lecturer,” a user said, another added, “He would have been my hero if he was my teacher.”
The comments didn’t stop there. “Audience shocked, lecturer rocked,” one of the users quipped. “He is living in the wrong profession,” a user said. Another user added, “He is not ‘master ji’, he is ‘dance master’ ji.”
