Blueface Denies He’s In Protective Custody In Jail

Blueface has denied reports he has been put in protective custody in jail.

Earlier this week, it was reported that the controversial rapper had been granted special permissions at Los Angeles County Sheriff Men’s Central Jail, including having a cell to himself.

According to TMZ, the “Thotiana” star was also allowed to spend several hours a week at educational classes and has access to a television.

Additionally, the outlet claimed that Blueface was being held in “administrative segregation” away from the rest of the inmates “due to the threat presented against them, or the threat they present to the jail, other inmates or personnel.”

However, Blueface denied the claims during a jail phone call, audio of which surfaced online on Tuesday (January 23).

During the call, the 27-year-old says: “I will never, I repeat, I will never ever go PC [protective custody].”

Blueface was sent to jail earlier in January for violating his probation relating to a 2021 assault case in which he and his entourage attacked a club bouncer.

It is believed that the rapper will remain behind bars until July.

At this time, it is not clear exactly how Blueface violated his probation but his mother has put the blame on his baby mothers, Chrisean Rock and Jaidyn Alexis.

Karlissa Saffold said on Instagram: “Jaidyn got him one charge, Rock got him the one that violated the other. That’s why it’s so quiet. Praying everyone now understands why I didn’t want them together. Because parents want the best for their children.”

She continued: “I love them all but not together. Praying for everyone to listen to their parents [prayer hands emoji]. My baby is in jail and my heart is broken again. Because they don’t listen.”

Blueface’s time in jail has so far been eventful. Last week, Soulja Boy threatened to have his rival raped while he’s incarcerated.

In an Instagram Live tirade, the “Crank That” rapper said: “You better hope I don’t pay somebody two bands to rape yo ass while you in there. I’m finna send the booty bandits! Who needs some money on their books? You gonna that bootyhole touched, boy.”

Soulja later apologized and attempted to mend fences, but Blueface said he still wanted to fight his fellow rapper which caused Young Draco to rescind his olive branch.
