Bonnaroo 2024 Brings Post Malone, Megan Thee Stallion & More to “The Farm” in Tennessee

The Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival once again transformed Manchester, Tennessee, a city of 13,000, into a vibrant music-filled wonderland and one of the country’s biggest annual music festivals. This year, the festival, affectionately nicknamed “The Farm,” featured a stellar lineup that drew music lovers from all over the country. As always, the event delivered unforgettable performances across multiple genres, including some of the biggest headliners in rap and hip-hop like Post Malone and Megan Thee Stallion.

Friday’s lineup was perhaps the biggest for rap fans. Post Malone, the massive “Congratulations” rapper/singer known for his genre-bending music that blends elements of hip hop, pop, rock, and now even country, delivered an electrifying performance that had the crowd singing along to every word. His setlist included hits like “Rockstar” and “Circles,” and his charismatic stage presence kept the energy high throughout the night. Post Malone’s rise to fame has been meteoric since his debut single “White Iverson” in 2015, a track which he first performed for fans at Bonnaroo in 2016, for a crowd that was a tiny fraction of his crowd on Friday night.

Key Glock, the Memphis rapper known for his smooth flow and hard-hitting beats, also delivered a standout performance. His set was full of energy, with crowd-pleasers like “Dough” and “Ambition for Cash” getting everyone hyped. Key Glock’s rise in the rap scene has been marked by his consistent output and his collaborations with the late Young Dolph, his cousin and mentor, further solidifying his place in the hip-hop community.

Saturday continued the momentum with Teezo Touchdown. An artist known for his eclectic style and genre-blending music, Teezo made a significant impact with his performance, just like he has with some of your favorite established rappers. Mixing elements of rap, rock, and punk, Teezo’s set was a refreshing change of pace, showcasing tracks from his latest album. His innovative approach to music and fashion has earned him a growing fanbase, and his Roo performance further established him as one of the most exciting rappers to watch.

In addition to Teezo’s entertaining set, a lot of the non-rappers shined on Saturday, including the iconic Red Hot Chili Peppers and Melanie Martinez who delivered a late night alt-pop performance for fans past midnight.

Ending the extended weekend on a high note, Megan Thee Stallion headlined Sunday’s rap offerings. Megan delivered a set that was nothing short of spectacular. Featuring hits like “Savage” and “Body,” Megan’s dynamic stage presence, booty shaking and commanding performance captivated fans at Bonnaroo. Since breaking into the mainstream with her “Tina Snow” EP in 2018, Megan has won numerous awards, including several Grammys, and has become a leader among female rappers today with her unapologetic persona.

Bonnaroo 2024 was a testament to the power of live music, community, and the unique spirit of “The Farm.” The festival’s ability to bring together such a diverse array of talent across its many stages ensured that there was something for everyone, all in a rural Tennessee city that multiplies in its population when the festival is in town.
