Attention street art fans! The Caps Attack festival returns to the Val-d’Oise this summer with a new 5th edition. It’s an opportunity to transform the town of Cergy-Pontoise into an open-air museum, with live frescoes on the program, as well as a series of events.

If you’re a street art enthusiast, then you’re probably familiar with the Caps Attack festival. For almost five years now, this international mural art festival has been coloring the city of Cergy-Pontoise during the summer, transforming the Val-d’Oise municipality into an open-air museum.

Initiated by the Art Osons association on the occasion of its 10th anniversary, the Caps Attack festival launched its very first edition in September 2017. Since then, the Ile-de-France street art festival has seen the birth of three other editions, the last of which dates back to 2023. That year, live painting, guided tours, murals with the artists, workshops and battles were organized to delight the eyes of the many curious onlookers.

This summer, from June 18 to July 6, 2025 to be precise, the city of Cergy-Pontoise opens its doors to the 5th edition of the Caps Attack festival. Two other communes in the Val-d’Oise will also be in the spotlight, hosting street artists: Vauréal and Jouy-le-Moutier.

As in previous years, the event will be punctuated by live events and frescoes. A major highlight is scheduled for Friday, July 4, Saturday, July 5 and Sunday, July 6, 2025, on the forecourt of the Cergy-Pontoise Prefecture.

As for the rest, on June 20, 2025, visitors will be treated to a roller party at La Peintinoire, the incredible venue transformed by the Art Osons association in 2023 and again in 2024. And don’t miss a graffiti jam on June 29 at La Lanterne (2 avenue du Jour, 95800 Cergy). Workshops, exhibitions, guided tours, meetings and concerts are also on the program for this 2025 edition of Caps Attack!

More good news: this street art festival is free and open to all. So make the most of it, and come along if you’re a fan of urban and mural art!
