Chinese boys make history at street dance competition

Two boys from China have made history by ranking in the top four at an international street dancing competition. It is the highest achievement ever reached by Chinese contestants at the event.

The competition is seen as the World Cup of street dancing.

They reached the quarter-finals in the Hip Hop category of the competition. This improved upon the past performances of Chinese dancers.

The Hip Hop category has no age restrictions, allowing the boys to compete directly with adult dancers.

The duo fascinated the audience by adding elements of Chinese martial arts into their energetic dance routines.

Haoming is from Jiangsu province in eastern China. Junxi is from the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region in southwestern China.
