Athens, OH–Factory Street Studio (FSS) is excited to announce that the 2024 Winter Dance Celebration Concert will be on Friday, December 13th at 7:00 pm and Saturday, December 14th at 2:00pm at Ohio University’s Putnam Hall. FSS is a non-profit dance studio that started in 1978 that provides non-competitive dance education in Southeast Ohio, promoting dance technique, self-esteem, personal growth and a cooperative spirit.
Factory Street Studio would like to invite our families, friends, alumni and community members to join us as we celebrate the hard work and dedication of our dancers! The Winter Dance Celebration features performances by our ballet, modern, jazz, hip-hop and tap technique students as well student choreographed pieces from our Capstone Composition class. You can purchase tickets in advance through the website, www.factorystreetstudio.org
If you are unable to attend the Winter Dance Celebration and are interested in supporting Factory Street Studio, consider giving the Gift of Dance this holiday season and contributing to our scholarship fund. Donations can be made by visiting our website, www.factorystreetstudio.org
Registration for our Spring term (January 13 – April 26) will begin December 4th on our website. We encourage new dancers to join us in 2025!
FSS is continually grateful for the community’s ongoing support. We are also grateful to our donors, partners, and granting agencies, which includes the Ohio Arts Council. All the contributors helped make it possible for us to offer affordable arts education in our community.
