Fly Dance Company to perform in Oakley

COLBY — Sunday, March 30 at 3:00 p.m. at the Oakley High School auditorium, Western Plains Arts Association will have in concert the “Fly Dance Company.” Contemporary Americana will be reflected as they cross street dance with classical choreographic principles and the technique of hip hop.

Fly Dance Company selects pieces with an emphasis on variety, high energy, and fun entertainment. The audience will be engaged from beginning to end, and leave uplifted by dancers who will have given their all to earn their love.

Admission is by ticket purchased at the door or by WPAA season tickets. 

This project is generously funded by Mid-America Arts Alliance, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the state arts agencies of Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Texas.

The Dane G. Hansen Foundation and the Logan County Community Foundation have also contributed to this project. 

Fly will also give a school program in Oakley on Monday morning, March 31.
