Golf course gets quirky makeover from graffiti artist

The eight-bay driving range at Bentham Golf Course in North Yorkshire has been given a colourful transformation by a graffiti artist.

The family-owned course, which also serves as a holiday park, hopes the new look will attract more youngsters and visitors.

“We are fortunate to be able to combine an immaculately well-kept golf course for serious enthusiasts alongside offering a facility for complete novices to try golf for the first time with a bucket of balls and hired clubs.

“I think the new driving range décor sets the tone for that environment, highlighting that golf is a fun sport open to all from dawn to dusk seven days a week.”

From May 31, she will be offering a four-week series of “Get Into Golf” starter sessions on Saturday mornings from 10am to 11am.

Participants can book onto single sessions at £12 or the block for £40.
