Bulgarian graffiti artist Ivan “Esteo” Yankov has decorated an apartment building in the Vazrazhdane residential quarter in the coastal city of Burgas.
Yankov has decided to depict cats that are typical of the area. The decorated building is adjacent to the first one painted by the artist in the residential quarter. On its facade, Esteo drew the faces of a girl and a wolf.
The artist told BTA that he is ambitious to make graffiti on a new facade every month and to transform Burgas with 24 graffiti drawings in two years, thus creating the city’s new tourist attraction.
The graffiti initiative is implemented by the Direction Burgas Association which has raised funds for it with a charity exhibition.
