SIOUX CITY — Sioux Crew, a nonprofit hip-hop dance troupe, will be hosting a hip-hop group showcase and solo battle at 4 p.m. April 20 at the North High School gymnasium, 4200 Cheyenne Blvd.
The mission of Sioux Crew is to bring hip-hop dance and its culture to the Siouxland area. The showcase and battle is for any dance group or individual who wants to demonstrate a hip-hop or a high-energy form of dance.
“We teach students how to express themselves through movement, music and the arts while building relationships, social skills and creativity,” said Sioux Crew founder Ashley Olsen.
