Subject: Graffiti Suspect Arrested in Lake Havasu City

LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Street Crimes Unit has been actively investigating several graffiti incidents throughout the city. During this investigation, the team identified a suspect linked to three separate downtown incidents. Various defaced items were noted in these occurrences, ranging from trash cans and electrical boxes, to buildings, concrete wash drains, and concrete pillars.

On September 13, 2024, at approximately 7:52 p.m., the Street Crimes Unit officers initiated a traffic stop near Mulberry Avenue and McCulloch Boulevard North. The driver, a 26-year-old Lake Havasu City resident named Adam Clark, was the suspect under investigation for these graffiti cases.

During the course of the traffic stop, probable cause was developed, leading to a full search of the vehicle. Several incriminating items were discovered – paint cans, paint markers, and art resembling the graffiti found at the crime scenes – that directly linked Clark to the case.

Following the investigation, Clark was arrested and subsequently charged with 16 counts of making graffiti (LHC City Code) and two counts of trespassing. Post his initial appearance, Clark was held on a $45,000 cash bond and transferred into the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.
