L’Expo des 150, a street-art exhibition organized for the ephemeral reopening of the Cabaret du Chat Noir, opens its doors to us from March 13 to 30, 2025, Paris 9e. The event brings together some 150 contemporary artists in an 8,000 m2 former telephone exchange. The exhibition will take over the first two floors, covering an area of 2,000 m2. And best of all, it’s free with registration!

Expo des 150 takes over the Cabaret du Chat Noir from March 13 to 30, 2025. More than 150 artists will exhibit their works over 2000 m², offering a unique immersion in contemporary urban art. Located in the former Bergère telephone exchange, this historic venue in the 9ᵉ arrondissement of Paris is being transformed to our great delight to host street-art and open stages.

For 17 days, Expo des 150 offers an immersive experience at the heart of urban art. These artists, whether major figures in contemporary art or emerging talents, will take over the ephemeral space of the Cabaret du Chat Noir.

Among the street artists to discover:

The Cabaret du Chat Noir, founded in 1881 by Rodolphe Salis, has always been a place of artistic avant-garde. Today, it is reviving this tradition by hosting this major exhibition. The building, built in the 1920s of reinforced concrete and clad in red brick, provides an ideal setting for this event.

The exhibition is not just about discovering the works. A bar and café will be set up to encourage exchanges between artists and visitors. A music stage will host live concerts, DJ sets and performances, while a poetry stage will offer spellbinding evenings every Wednesday evening. A free expression wall will allow everyone to leave their mark, and artistic workshops, supervised by professionals, will offer the opportunity to experiment with various techniques.

Highlights include:

  • March 13 (7pm – 12am): Vernissage.
  • March 14 (6:30 pm – 11:00 pm): Le Bordel de la Poésie with 14 comedians.
  • March 19 (7:00 pm – 11:00 pm): Open poetry stage.
  • March 26 (7:00 pm – 10:00 pm): New poetry stage at Chat Noir.

The exhibition is open to the public every day from March 14 to 30, from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm , with a vernissage on the evening of the 13th. This free event is a unique opportunity to discover the richness and diversity of the current and original Parisian urban scene. To attend this free event, you’ll need to reserve your place in advance. Don’t miss this opportunity to plunge into the world of Parisian street art and celebrate contemporary creativity in a unique and unusual setting.
