Vincent “CRIME129” Alejandro: A true product of the diversity of the city of Buffalo. Vincent is a half-Puerto Rican, half-Irish artist who grew up in the Old First Ward in the
Comodore Perry Projects area of Buffalo. Vincent graduated from the Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts in 1992 and left Buffalo to serve in the U. S. Army in 1993. After twenty years of living everywhere, from Mississippi to Europe, Vincent returned to his home city of Buffalo, New York, in 2013. Vincent’s background in art is deeply rooted in the graffiti/street art scene since 1984, and he has painted walls with notable street artists from Germany to The Bronx in New York City. He frequently paints at events like Paint Louis, Concrete Canvas, and Rusto Fest Chicago.
Since his return to Buffalo, Vincent has become a chameleon of sorts, painting everything from commissioned artwork presented on canvas, to large-scale public and private murals, to live painting artworks for sale and auction at various regional and national events. Vincent has more than thirty public art murals around the city of Buffalo and more than a dozen business and private murals.
