NORTHSIDE, Ohio (WKRC) – An initiative is in progress to restore two vandalized murals in Northside after they were defaced with graffiti in December.

The damage affected two of the seven public art pieces, resulting in thousands of dollars in losses for local artists.

The Northside Community Development group, known as NEST, has redirected a $2,500 grant originally intended for future murals to fund the restoration project.

Additionally, a GoFundMe campaign has been launched to raise an additional $7,000. The funds will cover the restoration costs and help ensure the future protection of the murals.
