The hip-hop dance group works with students in the Twin Cities.

SAINT PAUL, Minn. — Hip-hop is for all ages – and no one knows this better than Shapeshift Dance Company in Minneapolis.

The dance troupe performs for young students, including those at Mississippi Creative Arts School in St. Paul. The dancers shared an impactful message and included students and teachers in the performance.

The company aims to teach more students in the Twin Cities area about hip-hop and storytelling through dance.

Shapeshift Dance Company has busted a move on a national stage as well, performing at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. and the Lincoln Center in New York.
