NBA Youngboy Announces New Album ‘More Leaks’ Ahead Of His Prison Release

NBA YoungBoy Arrested on Drug and Firearm Charges

NBA YoungBoy is set to drop a new album ahead of his highly anticipated release from prison.

The rapper’s team announced on his company’s Instagram page that the project, titled More Leaks, will arrive on March 7, with its first single dropping this Friday (February 28).

“Last project before TOP is back,” the caption read, signaling that YoungBoy’s return is near.

The album’s title suggests it will consist of previously unreleased songs that have leaked online over time. This release follows December 2024’s I Just Got A Lot On My Shoulders, which was YoungBoy’s first album of the year.

Last month, it was confirmed that NBA YoungBoy will be released from prison on July 27. The rapper had previously accepted a plea deal related to gun possession charges and his involvement in a prescription medication fraud scheme.

Initially, YoungBoy had agreed to 23 months in prison, five years of probation, and a $200,000 fine after admitting to possessing multiple illegal firearms while filming a music video in Baton Rouge in 2020. He was also required to surrender the weapons to authorities. However, an amendment to his sentencing now credits him for time served up until May 2024, meaning he will regain his freedom this summer.

Additionally, YoungBoy pled guilty to multiple counts of felony identity fraud, forgery, and unlawful pharmacy conduct, but as part of a broader plea deal, his felony charges were reduced to misdemeanors, resulting in a $25,000 fine and no additional prison time.

During sentencing, Judge Spencer Walsh acknowledged YoungBoy’s potential, stating:

“I’ve seen so many times where young men and women with a lot of talent and potential are robbed of that when they struggle with addiction. I don’t want that for you. I’m sure that in your future, once you’re done with your federal prison time, you can be really successful on federal probation and have a bright future where you reach your full potential in every aspect of your life. Best of luck to you, Mr. Gaulden.”

With his release date set and More Leaks on the way, NBA YoungBoy’s return to the rap scene looks inevitable. Fans are now eagerly awaiting what comes next as the controversial yet prolific artist prepares for the next chapter of his career.
