The Sahel super club is changing things up with Brooklyn baller, SAINt JHN.

Although it’s only been opened for a handful of weekends, Sahel super club, 6IX Degrees, has already laid down a marker as the place to be this summer on the North Coast. Having served up a kaleidoscope of different nights and acts, including everyone from singing stalwarts, Mustafa Amar and Mahmoud El Leithy, to belly-dancing bombshells such as Alla Kushnir and Gawhara, to the likes of Disco Misr and DJ AK, 6IX Degrees is doing thing a little differently on Saturday 28 July.

In collaboration with O2 Entertainment, the Hacienda haunt has secured the service of one of the last few years’ most talked about independent rappers, SAINt JHN, for what looks like a huge night on the North Coast.

Having burst on the scene in 2016 with Roses, the Brooklyn native immediately caught eyes (and ears) for his big hooks, melodic verses and genre-defying lyrics. He then went on to impress with appearances at the likes of SXSW and memorable singles, Reflex, 3 Below and Some Nights – in fact, his songs have been streamed a combined total of just under 50 million times. And all that without a major record label or even a full album release – that was up until March of this year, when his long-awaited debut LP, Collection 1, was released.

The album set in motion what looks to be SAINt JHN’s year and with his manager happening to be US-based Palestinian producer, Rami Samir Afuni, it was only a matter of time before SAINt JHN took a walk on the wild-side and performed in the Middle East.
