Students got a sneak peek of the planned Hip Hop 101, an afterschool hip hop dance and music club hosted by the Walton Arts Center, at Washington Elementary School in Fayetteville.

Jeremiah Pickett, who performs under the stage name BAANG, gets a high-five Wednesday from third- and fourth-grade students at Washington Elementary School after rapping during a preview of Hip Hop 101 Club presented by the Walton Arts Center at the school in Fayetteville. The arts center plans to host three sessions of the club as an afterschool activity for students at three schools and the Boys and Girls Club of Fayetteville throughout the school year.
