PNG’s Wan Squad wins the 2024 World Hip Hop Championship

From the 3rd to the 10th of August, three thousand of the globe’s top dancers gathered for the World Hip Hop Dance Championship in Phoenix, Arizona where crews from over 55 countries battled it out for the championship title. 

Over the weekend, Papua New Guinea’s hip hop crew, Wan Squad have made history by winning first place in the adult division, earning them the title of 2024 World Hip Hop Dance Champions. 

If you’ve missed it, the new trailer for the highly anticipated Moana 2 dropped over the weekend. Set three years after the first film, Moana and her crew set out to find the lost island of Motufetu.
