Pooh Shiesty has been behind bars since 2022. His charges stem from two shootings that he was allegedly involved with in Miami in October 2020 and June 2021. After he was arrested for the second shooting, the 1017 signee was indicted on federal charges including federal charges of conspiracy to possess firearms in furtherance of violent crime, Hobbs Act robbery conspiracy and discharging a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence. He originally faced up to eight years in prison. However, he received credit for time served after he pled guilty to the firearm conspiracy charge.

Since he was incarcerated, the 24-year-old rapper has provided some updates via Instagram. He posted a couple of photos of himself in prison with a full beard and braids. He also called in to Gillie da King and Wallo’s Million Dollaz Worth of Game last year and revealed the artists who’s been holding him down since he got locked up. He shared that Lil Baby, Lil Durk and Don Trip wrote him supportive letters.
