Police arrested a prolific Portland graffiti vandal on Tuesday, the Portland Police Bureau (PPB) says.

PPB says they have been investigating Rodriguez-Lee for months.

In Oct. 2023 North Precinct officers arrested him for spray painting a large OMEGA tag in the 1400 block of North Schmeer Road. When officers arrested him they discovered he had a firearm in his possession. In Nov. 2023, Rodriguez-Lee pleaded guilty to the gun charge and received one year of probation.

According to police, on May 14, 2024, officials severed a search warrant to a home near Northeast 11th Avenue and Northeast Skidmore Street in the Sabin Neighborhood.

Police say Gabriel Rodriguez-Lee who is allegedly responsible for the OMEGA tag lives at that residence.

During the service of the search warrant detectives collected evidence including iterations of the OMEGA tag.

Law enforcement charged the man with eight felony cases of first-degree criminal mischief, and one misdemeanor of second-degree criminal mischief.
