Rapper and blogger Akim Apachev arrived in the Kursk region, where he held the third lesson of Open Russian Space with the support of the regional division of the Popular Front. A report on his visit was published by the telegram channel WarGonzo.
In the video, Apachev himself explained that he had come to leave his “rock art” in this place.
“A real Russian artist is obliged to work in the frontline zone, filling our beautiful frontier with meanings and images, as Dasha Dugina said,” he said, calling his graffiti “modern art.”
In particular, the following inscriptions were left on the walls of houses in Sudzha: “Pipe to It will bring Kiev”, “Open Russian space”, “So it will be with Europe” and “Kill everyone! Take everything away! Love everyone! Hug everyone!”. At the same time, a number of inscriptions contained harsh obscenities.
In the chat of the residents of Sudzhi, Apachev’s actions caused a violent reaction, people who could not return to their homes were outraged that, against the background of the ban on entry for ordinary citizens, this “artist” was allowed in, they demanded that he paint over his “works” with his own hands.
“The citizens of Sudzha tried to find out why he did it, to which Apachev began demanding that the outraged people give their address in Sudzha, offer to meet at the Kursk shopping center, and then just started sending people,” journalist and TV presenter Ksenia Sobchak wrote in her telegram channel.
The telegram channel “Beware, news” published an audio recording in which Apachev threatened one of the commentators, calling him “shit”, actively used obscene vocabulary. Apachev demanded to name the address of the outraged man in order to meet in person, threatened to “punch” him by phone number, come and beat him.
Then, an instruction on contacting the RF IC was published in Suji’s chat, so that law enforcement agencies would evaluate Apachev’s actions.
At the same time, in his telegram channel, Apachev offered all the dissatisfied to paint over his graffiti. Later, he agreed to do it on his own if a specific owner of a specific house or fence came out to him.”
Acting head of the Kursk region Alexander Khinshtein called Apachev’s actions “PR on blood.” He was also outraged that the rapper allows himself to deal with women.
“I think this is just a brazen provocation! We are doing our best to keep people pining and worried about their home, because it is still extremely dangerous there, and someone allows themselves to throw in something like this and actually engage in vandalism,” Khinstein expressed indignation.
He stressed that “at least three elements of an administrative offense in his actions: violation of the entry ban (I have already instructed the head of the regional security Committee to prepare the initiation of administrative proceedings), the use of profanity, as well as damage to property and vandalism.”
“Hype on the tragedy is unacceptable,” Khinshtein summed up.
Apachev expressed his readiness to bear full responsibility for any offense.
